THE STORY: Santa is in distress because Rudolph's nose is out of commission and the weatherman is predicting fog. To make things worse, the townsfolk of Ho Hum are up in arms over the development of the local forest and they want Santa to intervene, even though Santa realizes sorrowfully that this is a matter beyond his control. However, he decides to go to the village of Ho Hum and seek the help of Max, the Ho Hum Husky, and his friend, Miss Brandy, who have helped him on numerous other occasions. Santa finds the two dogs being pet sat at Madame Millicent's newly opened fashion salon in the Village Square. Millicent has not yet arrived, but her niece, Tilly, is handling the opening of the salon and preparing for a special Christmas Eve concert for the local seniors who are upset because their home is to be closed due to the proposed development. Max is in a cross mood because he has been forbidden to chase the salon's resident rabbit and he is being forced to listen to operetta. However, with the help of some enterprising rabbits, the two pets think up a scheme to solve the problems and Christmas turns out to be perfect after all.
